More Info

Friendships For Hope is a non-profit organization that offers food, clothing, English language classes, job skills training, and spiritual hope to refugees fleeing to America to escape persecution and even death back home. They have been relocated  to America by the United Nations, and are legal residents here. We want to be their new family in a strange new world by sharing love in meaningful and practical ways.

Each week we distribute 11,000 lb. of food and 500 pieces of clothing to families in need in our community. However, our primary work is to provide training and support so the refugees can meet their own needs, developing independence and the ability to support their own families in their new homeland.

So far we have helped close to 100 families from Chad, Congo, Rwanda, Afghanistan, Iraq, Myanmar (Burma) and Bhutan to become employed and self sufficient.

Become a Fundraiser and invite your friends to help us expand our ministry through our language school, thrift store, community garden, child development center, and job creation services to serve even more refugee families.
